Darryn Murphy grew up in a small northeastern town where her love for the Arts began. At a young age Darryn carried an artistic sense that set her apart from the rest. Through the years, Darryn grew to develop her gift, and transform the world around her.

After graduating with a degree in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Darryn moved back home to begin her career. Darryn apprenticed for some of the best photographers in New York City, working in many exclusive venues. As a photographer she was exposed to the artistic element of events. Through her lens, Darryn, and others, realized her true gift -event design and d�cor.

In 1997, Darryn went to work for one of New York�s floral designers. For ten years, she studied floral and event design from one of the most talented designers in the business. As her knowledge of the industry grew so did her artistic skills.

Darryn Murphy Designs launched in 2007. With over thirteen years in the industry, Darryn has learned how to incorporate a unique blend of fresh ideas and artistic vision for every client. Her photographic eye and study of color make her work powerful.

Darryn Murphy Designs has produced, designed and executed many extraordinary events. Darryn has relationships with the most prestigious venues in New York and around the country. Her outstanding reputation transcends the entire community from event planners to vendors to hosting venues.
